Your wrong on Caleb Williams. His teammates loved him, transfered over an immediately set a new tone and culture without being an overbearing jerk. Do you know how mentally tough you have to be to know you must score almost every drive in a game in order to compete. That was a fact, not hyperbole! But also not show any frustration with the defense at all. No words, no body language, no facial disby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Spencer Rattler, didn't get. But I did want Jordan Travis, was deflated when the Jets took him.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
You want names, dates, SS #'s , I don't got em. All I know is when they brought back Malcolm Brown, he was washed. But he knew the system. When they brought back Darrel Henderson, he was cut in season the year before and was sitting at home. But he knew the system, so did Zach Evans who was with you all year but didn't get a sniff. When they brought back Reeder when Jones was hurt, I groaned. Butby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm sorry, but I like Verse a lot more. Seems like a way better culture guy. Turner looked a bit small and kind of a d-bag.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I know reality. I don't need to be taught the basics of roster management and the salary cap. What I was referring to was when the money is somewhat equal, the Rams go with known limited option instead of the unknown better upside option. When it comes to filling holes with limited salary, the draft is always a good way to go. That's why I was in favor of a ILB in last year's draft along with thiby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think Milroe is a NFL QB, but keep an eye on Jaxon Dart and Cam Ward.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I feel you, I am done with the Troy Reeder experience. Just way to slow and therefore not in good position to make tackles. If Jones goes down for any period, we are screwed. It seems like this staff likes to go back with players that are familiar no matter their talent level or lack there of. We went back with Malcolm Brown, Darrel Henderson, John Johnson, Troy Reeder. I think at the time thby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Rarely can an udfa come in and complete for a starting spot. More likely he'll have to fight for his professional life just to make roster or practice squad. I was bummed when Jaylan Ford went off the board and Tatum Bethune , Verse and Fiske's teammate, got picked two spots before our last pick.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe we could look at Matt Corral from UFL and ole Miss. Local kid, I know he had some issues last couple years but I like him better than Bennet.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I somewhat agree with you, buuuut, sometimes a reach is a reach ,where no other team has a player ranked where you pick. Alex Leatherwood , formerly of the Raiders, was a huge reach in first round and everyone knew it. I would say Stetson Bennett in the fourth round was a reach. Even though qb's we're going,he was not going to be picked then. The Raiders have made a lot of reach picks and have proby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
So true, any pick, plus or minus 8 slots, is properly valued. These "fan" writers are so dumb. And are required to put up crap every day. Story lines are so forced.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Usually top talent is found in top rounds. Lucky to find contributers in middle rounds, don't count on it. Picking the 4th and 5th wr's in place of top rated defense is not cherry on top pick. And we are already discussing the TE in another thread.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Stop making sense! Can't you see that Brock Bowers has the name of a star! How could it go wrong?by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree totally. The defense right now is lacking top notch talent. It doesn't have to be at every position, but at least two to three. And top three rounds of the draft is usually where you get it.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Absolutely hate it. We are so lacking not only in defensive depth but also top talent. When I hear the narrative "let's just go offense and outscore everyone" it's makes me physically sick. That's just not sustainable. This team needs some balance. You wanna go wr in second or third, ok. Heck, McVay historicly doesn't use TE a whole lot, we've asked many times after a game What hby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
No, just no.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Ok these guys aren't at top of draft but somewhere in the middle 1. Mohamed Kamara Edge Colorado St 2. Jaylen Wright RB Tenn. 3. Jordan Travis QB Florida St 4. Dallin Hollker TE. Colorado St. Extra Jaylan Ford LB Texasby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
These writers from ramswire and Turf Show Times have to vomit something up every day and most times can't possibly believe what they are writing. It's like sports talk radio having " hot takes". Disingenuousby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think I would like a different CB at 52. Sanistril is really a slot only and with Durant and Tomlinson we've got that covered. I'd rather have a true outside guy. I don't know who was available but I've seen Melton in second. If we're lucky, TJ Tampa.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Not bad at all. And I do like Travis. But think with the third round picks they might go wr, cb not necessarily in that order. I can see Polk, McMillan, Burton , Baker(who I Like) at wr. And Abrams Draine, Heart, Jackson at cb. At 154 we go best ILB available, hopefully Jaylen Ford.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought I was the only one! Profootball Network has him ranked at 148 but he always goes around 118. I think 154,155 won't get him but 99 is too early. We are just in a bad spot for himby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I totally agree with you, it's as of some people think it's disrespectful to pick a DT first because your trying to "replace" AD! Well guess what, you are! One way or another. Also Merlin's cornerstone theory is off base. Your cornerstones are whoever your best players are. Examples, Chris Jones, Quinton Williams, Fred Warner, Fletcher Cox, and Aaron Donald.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Murphy's value is right there at 19 plus or minus 5 spots. If they pick him it is in no way a reach for need or "low hanging fruit". It is a position of need at a correct value. That's actually a good thing that doesn't always happen. I actually prefer Newton over Murphy but would be happy with top 3 edge and those two at nineteen. Would not like 2nd tier wr's or 3rd tier OT's. I thinkby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Along with Max Melton, I like Kris Abrams Draine and Cam Hart somewhere in the middle roundsby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
The only way I would entertain this scenario is if as the author stated all five top DT and Edge players are gone. Otherwise it's a no for me.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not gonna lie, if we somehow pick Bowers at 19, I will be disappointed. I'm excited to see what Davis Allen has given more opportunities and that goes for Parkinson as well. I always pick Hollker out of Colorado St. In my mocks late if we need TE depth.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Ok,ok I give. But will you at least acknowledge that when our run game is on the offense functions at a high level. Also its not really a if but when Kyren goes out for four weeks we have Ronnie Rivers and nothing else good available. Not good enough! We tried just picking a guy up late in Evans. Can we agree that's a fail and probably not gonna work. We brought back Henderson for Pete's sake! Caby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Newton and Murphy are not a reach at 19 by any means according to numerous boards. Some "experts" see Newton as the best defensive prospect and has been lost in the after season circus due to rehabbing. Some see Murphy as slightly better due to run defense. I've seen Newton mocked in late 20's but never second round. A reach is a pick 20 to 30 picks higher than consensus. Like a Sweat oby Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
Fair response. To be clear, I don't recommend trading up for anyone this draft. I just don't want to trade back to 28,29, 30 and miss out on our targets and then pick what? Guyton, AD Mitchell, Mckinnstry. None of that sounds great. I think by 28 , all our targets may be gone, even Chop, who I don't particularly trust.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
I wouldn't take any WR until we address most of our defensive holes like, DT, Edge, ILB, and maybe CB.by Ramdemic - RamsFootballFans.com
