Happened to mine yesterday. Soooo...Off to AT&T I went to buy another car...errr..I mean...PHONE! LOL This goes RIGHT in line with my gripe about "modern" technology and just how CRAPPY it is. These plastic pieces of garbage hover around $1000 but hardly last 5 years?? Yesterday, I was thinking back to a house I went into while at JFRD, about 11 years ago. The elderly lady had a shiny / perfectly working rotary phone that she said had been in the same spot since 1963. Modern phones have a ton of things you can do with them...I get that. They have much more fragile components....I get that. That's just it...They are fragile pieces of plastic and HIGHLY disposable. For $1000??????
