Going to meet with some very old friends today...

Some of whom I have not seen since High School... others I see once a decade or so. None I could say were once 'close' friends and YET....

Now, all of us elderly, they 'feel' like close friends. That make sense?

Reason for the meeting is not an 'official' reunion.... it's to visit my truly 'close' friend and neighbor whom I mentioned recently and has Parkinson Disease. The stars just happened to align and these old High School friends just happen to be in the area. Wife of my friend who has Parkinson's put the gathering together.

Love these old gatherings.... well, except for the part where my old friends feel the need to remind me, and everyone else, of something amazingly stupid that I did in my youth. I always respond the same - "Well, I got smarter, wiser, I'm a different person now"..... followed by them shaking their heads and silently signaling, "No you didn't".
