I recall hearing about the Romanov's and the Czar of Russia many years ago, when the rumor was going around that Anastasia was possibly still alive. But I never paid much attention to their story till about 2 months ago when I caught most of a Documentary on the family and their REALLY brutal and VERY sad execution by the Commies. None of them remotely deserved their fate. I found myself especially fascinated with Maria Romanov. Very beautiful young lady. It was very interesting to hear the stories of how eventually their remains were finally discovered. Maria and her young Brother , Alexei, were found much later. What the Bolshevik's did to them and their bodies was cowardly as hell.
