I have been THINKING about getting one but I'm not sure I'd ride it enough to justify the purchase. I learned to ride when I was in the 5th grade. Had an old neighbor...ex USN WWII Pilot, who was like a neighborhood tough old salt Grandfather to us kids. HE taught me and about 5 of my friends how to rise one. LOLOL I started with 3/4 of a peddle crank. Got MAYBE 2 feet before I flew off. Our neighbor simply said...... "Go for three feet now!" It really was as simple as that. We'd get on while holding on to the side of his garage. It took me a good bit to where I could start riding without holding onto something. Within 2-3 months, I could ride all over the neighborhood. It has probably been 20 years since I last rode one.
