I think I lost the only other NASCAR fan, semi-fan, when Ram23 retired from the board.... which leaves me holding the torch.
I don't follow NASCAR anywhere near as closely as I used to...but I do still like it, a lot. I tend to lose interest about the time the Indy 500 runs not picking it up again until the final few races when the championship is decided.
Used to know ALL the drivers.... today I know maybe 25-30% of them. (well, I mean).
My viewing schedule: Watch about ½ of the pre-race then the start until maybe lap 40.... then a LONG nap... wake in time to watch the last 40 laps or so.
I really don't have any favorites anymore. So I'll be doing this... watch who starts WAY back, or falls WAY back... then root for the 'miracle' comeback and win.... whoever is turning the steering wheel. - JamesJM
