No to Penix, Latu. Yes to Bowers, Thomas, Maye, top CB or LT

I hope the Rams avoid players, such as Penix and Latu, with a history of a serious injury, and Penix also has accuracy issues (a deal breaker for a Q. I'm in favor of moving up to get an elite player. If Bowers is as good as advertised, nobody else could have a bigger impact on adding a new dimension to the offense. I think Maye is the best QB prospect to come along since Elway. If he falls a bit (as some mocks suggest), it would be great if the Rams move up to get him. However, I think NFL folks are smarter than those doing mock drafts and that Maye will be taken near the top. Brian Thomas would also add something new to the offense, and he could probably be gotten at #19. If they can get a top CB or LT, I would not be disappointed if they go that route. There doesn't seem to be an elite edge in this draft. So I would wait until after the 1st round.
