I must say, while no one ever gets it 100% right when it comes to choosing or hiring people (because humans are humans and they do human things), McVay sure seems to get it right on his staff the vast majority of the time. The mere fact that the Rams are one of the most raided coaching staffs year after year only goes to prove it. For a coach in his 30's to have the extensive "tree" that he has is remarkable proof of his acumen.
So, I'm not the least bit concerned who McVay settles upon for DC or any other coaching position.
Whether he chooses Staley, Leonard, promotes an assistant, or Jourdan Rodrigue I don't care. I have confidence in him because he's darn well earned it.
