Like it or not, the right teams are in the Superbowl.
All year long the Niners have been the clear best in the NFC.
But KC is simply built for this and have the best coach and best QB in the NFL in Reid and Mahomes. We can be jealous of that reality, but thems the facts, Jack. Both the Lions and the Ravens have something that when its all on the line, they just can't get over the hump (Bills the same).
As I told my son last night, I think the Playoff teams, winners and losers, show just how close the Rams are to being a legitimate Superbowl contender. They played the Lions and Ravens nearly to a draw, split with the Niners, and even in their loss to the Niners it was a close game.
A better secondary, a healthy Kupp, one Edge rusher, and a reliable Kicker and they are there. They also need a capable back-up QB, and a good TE that can stay healthy. Higbee should be that good TE, but he just can't stay healthy. We also need one more RB to pair with Williams to give us essentially RB1 and 1a.
Still, KC versus the Niners is legitimate and they're not at the top of the heap by means of any flukes.
