2023/2024 Season Review

I'm guilty of projecting the Rams to win 7 games at the most for the 2023/2024 season.

The Rams proved me wrong and won 10 games.

They probably could've won 12 games with their scrappy young roster.

I know some of you projected the Rams would win 10 or more games, but It's hard to tell from a message board who is being realistic or just a die hard fan.

I'm not a gambler, but when Rams fans (on a message board) talk a big game about how they know/believe the Rams will win 10 or more games without putting their money on the line, it's simply fandom for me.

If you posted your bets/tickets from Las Vegas prior to your predictions, I would take it more serious.

And I don't mean a $10 dollar bet. I'm thinking a minimum of $100.

I've personally only bet on the Rams to win the Super Bowl prior to the beginning of a season 2 times.

1999 (they won), 2018 (they lost).

I didn't bet on them to win in 2021 because they were a favorite. (I was more confident about them winning the SB in 2021 in my life) but I didn't bet. I wish I would've.

Back to the 2023/2024 season. I projected a 7-10 record.

When the Rams beat the Cardinals 37-14 on 11/26/23 I believed they were special team. I bet $50 on them to win the SB. The payout would've been 7,500.00.

Again I'm not a gambler. The Rams got beaten by the Lions and my money was gone quicker than I bet it.

(Even if they had beat the Lions, they lost Higbee and Kyren Williams (injuries) for the remainder of the playoffs so sadly they were probably not winning the bowl).

I've only predicted the Rams to win the SB 4 times in my life.

3 times prior to the start of the season 1999, 2018 & 2021. They made it to the SB all 3 times.

I predicted the Rams would win the SB this season after they beat the Cardinals on 11/26/23. Sadly, the Lions stopped my SB prediction streak.

I'm 3-1 predicting when the Rams would make it to the SB. It's kind of crazy how I've only made 4 such bold predictions since I was 7 years old.

This season might have been my most favorite to follow but the1999 season was the most exciting imo.

The 2021 season was priceless, but I expected them to win the bowl from start to finish.

They started out 3-6 and finished 10-7. I loved this 2023 team even with their special teams flaws and suspect defense.

Will I predict them to win the SB for the 2024/2025 season? Probably if Snead and company patch the tires and properly tune up the engine.

The current Rams organization is a blessing.

I'm going to enjoy the rest of the NFL playoffs and get excited for the upcoming NFL Draft.
