Again, Rams have two very important incentives to praise Morris at this time.
1. If Morris fails to get an offer and stays with Rams, they want to be on record as his friends. Last thing they want is a butthurt DC as they push for a 2024 SB.
2. If Morris gets hired away, they are not only the ‘good guys’, but they will receive two 3rds as comp picks AND can hire a more aggressive DC for their 2024 SB push. A move that will enhance their chances, imo.
So either way the smart move for Rams is to talk up Raheem Morris.
