Not sure about you guys, but I found a little extra sweetness in the fact that Puka did it in SF, in front of their heathen fans.
The announcers were mentioning that "Nefarious" Ward was quoted as saying something to the effect of if Puka did break the record, he (Ward) was going to make sure that Puka was sore after the game.
LOL, I didn't see any signs of Puka being sore, Mr. Ward, but I DID see your jock hanging around your ankles when Nacua scored that TD on you...
"He caught the touchdown while being guarded by 49ers defensive back Charvarius Ward. Ward, a sixth-year player, made comments before the game saying he was going to try to prevent Nacua from getting the record. Ward added that if Nacua did get the record, he would make sure Nacua was "sore" after the game. On the final drive of the first half, the 49ers double-teamed and even triple-teamed Nacua to prevent him from breaking the record."
