By beating the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, the Los Angeles Rams set up a first-round matchup with the Detroit Lions. It’s the wild-card game everyone was hoping for, pitting Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff against their former teams in a huge playoff contest.

The Lions will be at home as the No. 3 seed, and they’ll also be favored over the Rams, which isn’t surprising. According to BetMGM, the Lions are 3.5-point favorites against the Rams. The over/under is set at 51.5, the highest of the four playoff games that are already set.

Moneyline (ML)

Rams +150 (bet $100 to win $150)
Lions -185 (bet $185 to win $100)
Against the spread (ATS)

Rams +3.5 (-110)
Lions -3.5 (-110)
Over/Under (O/U)

51.5 (O: -110 U: -110)
The Rams and Lions last met in 2021, a game Los Angeles won at home, 28-19. That was the first year for Goff and Stafford with their new teams, and they each headed in opposite directions in Year 1. The Rams won the Super Bowl, while the Lions went 3-13-1 in Goff’s first season.

It’s the Lions who come into this game with the better record, though, finishing 12-5 in the regular season compared to the Rams’ still-impressive 10-7 mark.
