perspective on inconsistent QB play

It's hard to understand how a QB can look great in one game and then horrid in another. This has certainly been true of Stafford as it was for Goff. I was watching the 1958 NFL Championship game, which is where the legend of John Unitas began. I was surprised to see that, in the first quarter, he had a fumble and an interception as well as a should-have-been interception. So inconsistent QB play goes back a long time.
