Rams waive Brett Maher & Brett Rypien: Sign K Havrisik & QB Wentz
Interesting that both Brett's get cut after failed performances in their last outings.
Many on this board thought Maher & Rypien were not good roster fits and the Rams brass finally caved in on both of them in less than 3 weeks apart.
McSnead and company are reacting fast with their flawed evaluations of the Kicker & backup QB positions.
At least they're not being stubborn and making changes quickly (admitting their mistakes).
I can respect that even if it's cost them a win or two.
I think our Rams should have a 4-5 record but there is no excuses even with the mishandling of their backup QB and kicker choices.
I merely hope they can put together a 3 game winning streak and make the 2023 season interesting.
I'm not going to pile on about their choices for starting kicker and backup QB on the final roster. They blundered and they know it.
