Shack is when the RB lines up out wide at #1, then motions back to normal alignment.
It’s a simple info-gathering mechanism -- indicates coverage, man or zone presnap

anyway, look at the dotted lines
the TE has 3 possible rotues based on the coverage he sees
the ZE has two (in McVays terms ZE is the "R"winking smiley
The X also has a slight take off adjustment.

one thing about Fangio is that with the same look
all the time, the offense cannot get a read on what
coverage is until after it is snapped and it delays
the routes...that is the disguise comes post snap in a sense
