Days of Loyalty and traditions are getting further in the past. Look at this NFL off season and just our Rams.....Damn near every move is 100% based on money. I do not trust any player who says they are Committed to any team anymore or any GM or Owner who says a Player is "here to stay". YES..Free Agency and such started this 35 + years ago. But IMO, it has gotten worse. IMO...Money has REALLY added a LOT of corruption to the NFL and all Pro Sports. I get the comeback of Capitalism but it REALLY has gotten out of hand.
Watching NCAA ball USED to be the escape from ultra Business and Sports. NOW.....We have NIL (Basically legalizing what teams USED to get Probation for) WHAT could possibly go wrong????
I'm sure many of you can come up with reasons why it's all good. Maybe it is. But it all has left a bad taste in my mouth and concern for the direction / future of Sports.
