This is how much people have to read--
there is a quarters read (hilited in yellow), a man read (in pink)
and TRIX in purple
SO, if it is quarters, I have show what the defenders will
to the LB to offenses left rushes, the LB to right takes flat
the ILB to left takes left flat, ILB to right, takes middle
but in TRIX the safeties do no take 1/4 one goes to
the deep MOF and the other "robs" as seen as he sees
the Y receive break out. He will do that because he
thinks it's man because Nickel is on him and will
thing the right safety is in quarters and will be one
guarding him...
the corners have the outside guys and the middle
safety helps them--and the QB should see the robber
since it is a deep to shallow read...and if he throws
deep the robber has a chance for a pick--the Cover-4
read means the read is the X--so if read properly
by QB the best throw is to the H to the flat
for a check down... the deep stuff is taken away
if that is not good the last read is the Y in the other flat
and that only happens if there is no pressure
The Y going in or out happens so fast the TRIX safety
can make his decision and the nickel can get on the
Z - the sail route--that is his final match and
the LBer can get on the Y (the arrow) that is his zone
match . .
the LB in middle zone can rush late or spy or push
to "look for work" does not want to guard green grass
only works with off-coverage, though. The shell is part
of the disguise --look the same every time
this shows Soft Zone Quarters or Cover-2, but
really is an off Cover-1 robber
