Sean was really tight with his Grandpa. Did he really get a chance to "mourn" for him and properly deal with all the depression and anxiety that comes with the death of a loved one? Weren't those two VERY close?
Add to that the horrible season he just had to deal with and his wife's family in Ukraine, I can see how that would really drain someone. This year was a "tidal wave" of emotion for Sean McVay.
He did say this has been in his head for a few years now so maybe I am wrong but either way, I think all the above were the "straws" that broke the Camel's back for McVay and helped him come to this decision.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
