I've always had a lot of respect for Raheem Morris, and it seems like he's got a really strong positive effect on the players.
Given that he's worked on both sides of the ball, I think it'd be better to slide him to a more ambiguous role where he can help support McVay more broadly. (Maybe elevate one of the other assistants to DC and then just have Raheem rove on each side).
McVay has probably been a victim of his own success in that so many of his assistants get poached, and I also imagine many of them are inclined to be extremely deferential to him. Given that Raheem has so much experience and seems to have a lot of attributes that resonate well with Sean (and indeed some that seem similar e.g. a prodigious start as a very young head coach), I think he'd be helpful to Sean as a more general support.
I think it would also work well with Raheem. I think those two already have a really strong rapport / mutual respect.
Raheem as associate head coach may be the sort of tweak that could give them a useful boost as they attempt to win out and make it to the post-season.
