Here are a few interesting tidbits from Week 1:
2021's 14 playoff qualifiers went 5-9 in Week 1.
2021's "final 4" went 1-3 in Week 1.
The Cowboys and Patriots may have lost their QBs for extended periods of time, and the Steelers may have lost the reigning defensive player of the year for the season.
The starting QBs from last year's Super Bowl combined for 3 TDs and 7 interceptions.
WTF?
If someone wants to make a case for good teams giving their starters reps in the preseason, this weekend could be Exhibit A. Whether that's the reason, or its a parity thing, time will tell.
I don't think any fanbase should be too high or too low at this point, though.
