Bobby Wagner (5 sacks in 2013), Earnest Jones (1 sack in 2021), Terrell Lewis (3 in 2021), Justin Hollins (3 in 2020) and Greg Gaines (4.5 in 2021) will all reach career highs in sacks. I think Wagner and Jones combine for more than 10 sacks as I expect the Rams to blitz more this year.
Tutu will have a career year (wow, that was easy). Seriously, with 500 yards from scrimmage and 3 TD’s, he will give both his detractors (those stats are not worth a second round pick) and his supporters (those stats show promise for someone who spent a good deal of last year on IR, besides, look at the Rams WR depth) something to jaw about.
ARob will go for 1,200 yards and 12 touchdowns.
The Cowboys will miss the playoffs and Mike McCarthy will be fired during the season.
The Vikes will win the North, Justin Jefferson, with ex-Rams OC Kevin O’Connell calling the plays, will have a season similar to Cooper Krupp’s from last year.
Last year, the Rams went 4 wide on 4% of their plays (26 total plays) (https://www.sharpfootballstats.com/personnel-grouping-frequency.html). This year, that number will rise, particularly if Beckham returns. If you recall, McVay said he intended to rum more 4 receiver sets when they signed OBJ, but that was derailed when Bobby Trees was injured.
