Highlights include:
- Thomas originally on aspiring to be a RB coach and nothing more. Now he's aiming for OC and HC future roles.
- TB's superpower is to be able to read others and meet them on their terms, not his, as well as being a straight shooter and calling it as he sees it. Not necessarily always following, but leading by telling what needs to be said.
- TB's new role as TE coach allows him to merge both the running and passing game. If he can improve the running game this year then he's proved his worth, IMHO.
- He actually runs the drill himself, fullspeed, so that he can demonstrate what he wants the player to get from the drill. This builds camaraderie and buy-in.
- While TB found and selected Ra'Shaad Samples, it took Samples only 15 minutes interviewing with Sean McVay to gain his buy-in as RB coach for the Rams.
