We see Ramsey prodding the Rams to get this guy or that guy....Players saying "Let's do it again!!"....But every player wants to milk a team's salary cap. It's why we will never see teams like the 70s and 80s when you'd see the saaaaame players for 5-10 years. I miss those days BUT....It's today's system that means if your team sucks, you CAN have serious hope of a rather quick turn around. In the 70s and 80s, it was almost status quo of who was contending.
But with all that said.....Nothing irks me more than a player (NOT saying Woods did this) getting their feelings hurt when a team pays them ludicrous money instead of REALLY ludicrous money. Teams need talent ($$$$) across the board to win and there's only so much to go around.
