Whit was pretty open that if he retires he'd like to continue to work with the Rams organization. He made no mention of being an announcer.
TV announcers have to travel a lot, but they make really good money. Whit would make an excellent TV announcer. Humble. Extremely well spoken. Super knowledgeable. Very likeable personality. Future HOF guy.
But..... I don't think he wants to travel. He's a family guy. He's rich. He says his family loves SoCal and that they are staying put.
I could see Whit being an assistant coach for the Oline, or maybe even working in the Rams FO. He might have his pick of either. What a great leader, and he made it clear that he and McVay are each others best friends.
