The thing that must be noticed about the Rams over the Niners is the physicality the Rams played with on both sides of the ball, but especially on D.
The Nick Scott hit was so important in that respect. Ashawn was wonderfully physical as was Von Miller.
If the Rams play that physically against the Bengals, I don't think they can match it. Especially our D against their O. It's not that the Bengals won't hit some plays; they will. But in the 2nd half that's when the physicality begins to take its toll.
It also means we must RUN THE BALL. I'd like to see some decent efficiency; however continuing to hammer is important. I'd like to see our Oline really be a bully. And Sony Michel must be part of this.
Barring a bunch of Rams turnovers, if the Rams are as physical as they were against the Niners (all the playoff games, really) they ought to be in the driver's seat.
