I think the perspective is so off on McVay. He is spectacular. He has had a winning season every year in the NFL and had a superbowl trip. He did this with a quarterback that has never won a game with his new team.
Now, he takes a career 500 QB and goes 7-4 where up until Stafford's injuries and the Woods injury was 7-2.
I see the best product in Rams history other than when Martz ran the show. He could finish out the season 9-7 but I say let him retool and he will always be in the hunt. He may have a bad season here or there, but I would ride him for the next 2 decades. It is hard to win at the level he has won at in the NFL and he just gets it which explains why he has a team battling for the playoffs every season versus a 4-6 win teams in the Non McVay/Martz years.
