1979, if I recall, Rams dropped a game or two UNDER 500 rather late in the season and were a Cromwell dropped pick 6 or Vince seeing Waddy from taking out a Dynasty Steelers team in the SB.
1989.... The Rams had a 4-5 game losing streak. Everett was screwing up a bit, STs had issues, break downs on D (UGH!! That BILLS GAME!) That slump was followed by an AWESOME run late in the season. I hurt, BIG TIME, after we lost at Frisco for the Title but was so proud of that 1989 squad.
Actually, BOTH 1979 and 1989 I call the most heart breaking endings to a season. But DANG! Those two teams fought hard and made me proud as hell to be a Rams fan!
