Why sooo many empty backfields?

November 08, 2021 03:08AM
Does it seem we are running more empty backfield sets this year than ever before? It just helps the D by telling them it's going to be a pass with NO threat of a run. I can see using it sometimes but IMO we are running it waaay too much.

McVay seems a little "pass happy" all the time but now that he has Stafford, it seems he thinks he can pass his way out of anything. IMO, we need to be more creative on run plays ans get back to using more play action.

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood

McVay loves to beat square pegs into round holes vs physical teams.
