Yes, the wife is thoroughly pizzed that she has to watch the Seahawks wearing their highlighter green unis in 4k tonight....... ugh! LOL! It's a small price to pay to enjoy the crystal clear broadcast.
With minimal effort, anyone with 4k capable equipment and a decent internet connection should be able to get tonight's game in 4k resolution. This is the first NFL game of the 2021 season to be broadcast at the higher resolution, and all of the Thursday night NFL broadcasts handled by Fox will be done this way going forward (feel free to google it to get a list of the games).
Check with your programming source for more info. I use YouTubeTV and the game has been showing in the programming grid for two days. Note - to watch via YouTubeTV, you do need to have the 4k add-on package. But there is a work-around if you don't have the add-on using the Fox Sports App (see below)........
Keep in mind that in some instances, if your provider is not showing the game in 4k, you may be able to use your provider account info and log into the Fox Sports App and stream the 4k broadcast through it.
