Announce he's retiring unless dealt to the 49ers. He's already set for life financially (outside of an outlandishly oppulent lifestyle --which doesn't seem like Goff). The Lions would have no choice, and the 49ers would love him. Hell, Montana might even allow his playing as #16. Behind that hulking O-Line with a HC that understands what commitment to the running game means, Goff and the 49ers would own the Rams and the NFC West for the next decade. The sweetest part would be that Goff has the class --unlike the boy genius-- to never publicly say a word about it. He might give McVay the broken thumbs up two or three times yearly though.
