Yes, he has played for some bad DET teams, but that stat doesn't inspire confidence.
With the cap savings, maybe the Rams can sign Gollady and a decent Center.
Was the final straw Goff not willing to restructure as was rumored?
And some of this is on McVay and Snead for giving big contracts to Cooks, Gurley and Goff with Gurley and Goff extended while still on their 1st deals.
My thoughts on Goff is that he was somewhat thrown under the bus with the Rams not having a legit deep threat, but he didn't help himself in those four games.
When he did have a deep threat in 2018, and a good OL, he had some memorable games. MIN and KC come to mind.
We'll know more at this time in 2022
Also, does DET have a deal with another team for Goff?
Belichek would make Goff near-elite...
