Colin Cowherd Speculates it's Contract Related With Goff

Colin has a very well reasoned opinion that all of this is to get Goff to restructure his contract in a team favorable way.




This could be a hybrid of what everyone is saying where one end is they want him out versus the other end saying this is to light a fire.

Maybe the Rams do want to keep Goff as he is better than what is out there or they can afford, but if they can drop his cap hit by $10-$15mm through a restructure, it would be a huge boon for the rams and they will feel like they are getting more their moneys worth.

Maybe they asked him to restructure favorably to the rams and when he wouldn't, this all started.
