I've always been a mlb guy since Hacksaw Reynolds, Carl Ekern, Jim Collins and even Fred Strickland. A great ILB can be a drive stopper, series ender. Just by geography alone he is on average closest to any offensive play left to right, front to back. The gap between our guys and dudes like Fred Warner, Bobby Wagner, Darius Leonard, Edmonds in Buffalo and Devin White is shocking. Warner absolutely killed us last two years and Wagner has tormented us for years. They turn what should be a seven yarder into a two or one. They also cover all types and cause major problems. We need that! I've seen some on this board say we can plug anyone in and its not that vital. I say why not be elite on all three levels of the defense. Donald, ?, and Ramsey. Ill provide some of my ideas later , sorry for length but very passionate about the position.
