I know DAL/BAL is tonight, but that does not really effect these numbers.
So:
Jared Goff is #7 in Passing Yards
Cooper Kupp is #16 in Rec Yards
Robert Woods is #23 in Rec Yards
Josh Reynolds is #55 in Rec Yards
Tyler Higbee is #100 in Rec Yards (#18 for just TE's)
Gerald Everett is #105 in Rec Yards (#19 for just TE's)
Darrell Henderson 123/559/4.5/5TD's is #24 in yards
Malcolm Brown 90/368/4.1/5TD's is #44 in yards
Cam Akers 80/357/4.5/2TD's is #46 in yards
Combined they are 293/1,284/4.4/12TD's
Derrick Henry is 271/1317/4.9/12TD's #1 in yards
Dalvin Cook is 251/1,250/5.0/13 #2 in yards
RBC does work and the total cost of those three is less $$$ than Henry or Cook with their recent extensions. Don't get me wrong, they are studs, but merits mentioning.
Defense?
#1 in pass yards allowed, #2 in total yards allowed, #3 in rush yards allowed and #5 in points allowed as a team
Wow.
Aaron Donald is #2 in sacks with 11.0 sacks, Leonard Floyd is #16 with 7.0 sacks
This defense is BRINGING it. I never would have imagined it would improve this much and Brandon Staley, Jalen Ramsey and replacing guys like Fowler (2.0 sacks for ATL), Littleton being a major disappointed and replaced by a rookie (he did have COVID issues) has been an improvement. Dare I write the words Eric Weddle? (John Johnson III being healthy is a big help as well)
Major kudos for Sean McVay hiring Brandon Staley and Staley working with the remaining defensive coaches to show a marked improvement.
I think they have a Super Bowl defense, now can the offense carry the Rams far in the playoffs?
