Though not perfect I like our new PK

yeah I know he missed what should be a fg that a good NFL kicker makes 80% of the time BUT compared to the utter ineptitude we have been forced to take in up until this week, this guy is Sebastian Janikowski or Morten Anderson. He made his extra points (and not just barely) he also got a touchback most of his kickoffs. These are two things I took for granted during the Greg the Leg era but couldn't count on at all this season until last night. This level of kicking isn't what is to be aspired to but if we can keep getting touchbacks, made xp's and all field goals under 45 yards made, sign me up for that. It won't get him in the pro bowl but we can work with that to get to a Super Bowl. It does beg the question though if this level of kicker was available on the street, why waste a draft pick and all the months of ineptitude up until last night on an unacceptable level of place kicking?
