1) Not sure why I continue to see posts asking for Cam Akers to get more run. Although he may eventually prove to be the best RB of the current trio, Henderson is clearly the man and should be receiving playing time with Brown on a 65/30 split (w/ Akers getting leftover scraps). As this is first extensive crack at PT, I'm interested to see where Henderson might be, physically, come mid-December. I'm sure the bye week will come just in time for him.
2) Was encouraged by Taylor Rapp's play last night. Looked like he was where he was supposed to be for the most part and did well with his tackling. I'm thinking he's growing more accustomed to Staley's scheme.
3) Was interested to see Ramsey split out wide with Graham when the Bears were threatening in the red zone. I don't remember if he got that chance last week against Kittle (or if it was pointed out on TV), but I'd be interested to see if we might see that match-up in round 2 against the 9'ers.
4) I know the board's emphasis appears to be on getting help at rush end, but I really think we need more help at ILB. Just don't think that Kiser is offering much in either run support or coverage.
5) So, Goff got flagged for intentional grounding last night. Aside from the fact that play should've resulted in a facemask penalty...was it me, or wasn't that pass deflected at the LOS? Can the refs even take that into account?
