Good teams develop over the year and peak at playoff time

I'm in no way ready to proclaim this version of the Rams as an elite playoff team. However what I see is a young team that has potential and is getting better. They were certainly better week 2 than in week 1, and good enough to win both games.

Belicheck is the master at bringing his team along. Winning along the way, perhaps losing 2, 3, 4 games, but not peaking until December.

I don't know if McVay is there yet. But what I want to see is the Rams get incrementally better each week, even though they are bound to lose 3, 4, 5 games because the NFC West is so good and because I'm not sold that the Rams are so great..... just yet.

But, who can't help but be optimistic at this point?
