Rams projected 53-man roster: Final prediction before cuts

The Los Angeles Rams will wrap up training camp this week and begin preparing for Week 1 after making final roster cuts. They have to trim their roster from 80 players to only 53 by 1 p.m. PT on Saturday, which won’t be easy based on the talent they have from top to bottom.

Difficult decisions will need to be made, particularly at positions such as running back, receiver, on the offensive line and at linebacker.

The kicking battle is also very much undecided and the coaching staff has just a short while to decide which kicker to keep on the 53-man roster. At quarterback, there’s a chance the Rams will keep Bryce Perkins as the No. 3 guy, but they’d be better off sneaking him onto the practice squad.
