I know the Rams play a 3-4 defense and often the 4 linebackers play on traditional running downs (the 4th being Kiser or it was Hager/Reeder)
My question is when does the slot corner play (when it was NRC) vs playing the three safeties (example Weddle, JJ and Rapp).
I am using last year's personnel because of all the changes.
Do they play one over the other in certain packages or even both playing 7 Dbs and what no linebackers? I have read they want to use Burgess in the Rapp role before Weddle was injured.
Just curious how they get all those players on the field. I guess this year it would be Long (slot) and the new safety as #3 Burgess -although I have read him playing slot CB too.
