Well, I think we can assume that they felt pretty danged comfortable at C, OG, and OT because they coulda had studs at each of those positions if they wanted them in the 2nd.
Same with Edge and ILB.

They lost Gurley and turned around and picked Akers.
Lost Cooks and drafted Jefferson.
Saving a ton of future cap at those positions, btw.
Apparently, the quality depth in this draft inhibited Snead’s trade down opportunities, so they just picked at their turn. I wish it were otherwise, but it was not to be.
I’m sure that Snead will address other obvious Ram needs down the line in the 3rd and 4th rounds.
