I’m making the over/under on Snead draft trades at 3...

And frankly I’ll be surprised if it’s under 3.

All the ingredients promoting Snead trade downs are present.

Rams need more picks, especially through the 3rd and early 4th rounds.

Good value through 4th round.

Snead philosophically just loves to trade down, anyway. Lol.

All Snead needs is to find 2-3 teams that want to move up a bit for specific players AND he needs to have done well in his evals of those players that he’s identified as later targets while feeling that said targets will still be there after the trade down, plus McVay and his asst coaches must be able to quickly develop the acquired rookies.

I think that both Snead and this coaching staff have proven that they’re up to their respective tasks.

I think that any future mocks should assume some trade down combo or another out of 52. Maybe even 84, as well. I’m serious.

I further suspect that the Rams might come out of this hypothetical draft, even after trades, with possibly 2 new starters and another 4-5 contributors for this season, not to mention players that might be developed into possible starters in ‘21.

Can’t wait to see exactly how this drama unfolds.
