why would Jags or Cowboys keep coaches?

I would be furious if I were a Jags fan having to watch them stick with Marone another year. Same for Cowboys and Garrett. It is painfully clear the players no longer respond to these guys and it is time for a change. I was shocked when Browns were giving signals they'd keep Kitchens another year. That should have would have caused a mutiny.
