There was a huge thread this summer
I can’t remember the ESPN or NFL announcer said the Rams would be 8-8 and many on the board erupted. But I didn’t because its the NFL and things change very quickly for everyone except the Pats.
How does it happen?
1) Goff regresses and what we saw in the second half of last year continues
2) Gurley is no longer Gurley
3) The Rams oline has serious question marks and those question marks don’t work out favorably for the Rams (Ram43 and I went around and around about this)
4) McVay is slow to adapt his offense again and continues to struggle brutally in the redzone
5) Close games that you win in 2018 your are not good enough to win in 2019
6) The dline has question marks and in three games this year the Rams are absolutely mauled by Tampa, Dallas, and Baltimore
Its a tough Sunday. This one is painful but this year the Rams simply aren’t very good. They are not good enough anywhere.
My fear? They can’t fix this stuff. The Rams look like the Falcons last year... accept their collapse is a year ahead of schedule
Man its going to be one long offseason.
