...is great (realizing the game has changed dramatically for the offenses).
Consider these stats (I include sacks as plays and yards loss on the stats in the passing numbers and points given up by the defense):
SF: 35 pass plays/232 yards, 41 rushes/99 yards- (71 plays, 331 yards) 20 points (including the 20 yard TD "drive" after D. Henderson's fumble)
ATL: 38/186, 16/38 - (54 plays, 224 yards) 10 points (including a garbage TD)
CIN/ 57/297, 22/104- (79 plays, 401 yards) 10 points
PIT/ 41/231, 27/42- (68 plays, 273 yards) 10 points
CHI/ 50/193, 24/74- (74 plays, 267 yards) 7 points
So, a total of: 351 plays, 1,501 total yards and the defense giving up 11.4 points a game.
An average of 70 plays a game, 300 yards, 4.3 yards per play, and 130 rushes for 357 yards, 2.7 yards per carry, and an average of 26 rushes for 71 yards game, and the pass D: 221 plays, 1,144 yards, an average of 44 pass plays, 229 yards a game. 18 sacks (3.6 a game) and a safety to boot...
VERY impressive.
Lamar Jackson will be a real test and the Ravens are not afraid of anybody or playing anywhere.
The defense has been very, very good and needs to carry this team.
Jalen Ramsey and a softer schedule has worked wonders for this gelling defense...and a real running stuffing DT like SJD over N. Suh it appears (and maybe a healthier Brockers)...
