Unlike in recent years, the Los Angeles Rams have had to lean heavily on their backups in 2019 for one reason or another. They traded away Marcus Peters, lost Aqib Talib, John Johnson and Clay Matthews to injuries and had to replace Joseph Noteboom on the offensive line.
They’ve made the best of the situation, partly thanks to backups stepping up. The Rams’ depth was on full display Sunday against the Bengals, helping lead the team to a win.
