In that style kicking there is of course a curve on flight of ball.
Isn't it reasonable to believe that Zuerline s kick being extremely powerful also have a certain curve pattern varying on the distance ?.
There maybe some analysis the Rams keep as to the misses he experienced looking for small patterns to correct.
His kicks seem to often cut in an hit center oin say the last five yards.
Since he is a distance kicker that's the rhythm he's mainly programming attempts for and I think you could catorgorize his arc as late breaking .
Maybe he's like a tennis player who hits hard and has a lot of topspin on his ball but is mainly a baseline player not a player that's great close in at net. Different game for him.
What if Zuerlines misses from 35 - 45 yds over his career and even some extra points come when hes simply defaulting to his distance stroke which is late breaking coming in from right to left.
This could be the simple issue he has and why it's easier fohim to naturally hit a 55-60 yd kick.
Kicks at shorter distance by this theory are harder for him because he actually has to visually pick target more left or take off some of snap on his kick to make the putt.
It becomes more of a mind game either way .
Just thought I'd give my two cents.
But I'd really like to know if he misses more kicks to right than left from shorter distances and if he almost never missed to left overall.
Thanks.
