Sean McVay has had a hard time retaining assistant coaches since joining the Los Angeles Rams, losing the likes of Matt LaFleur, Greg Olson and Zac Taylor to other teams the last two years. That’s led to countless changes on his coaching staff, including one on the defensive side of the ball this offseason.
McVay and the Rams opted not to retain defensive line coach Bill Johnson, replacing him with Eric Henderson. Henderson didn’t have far to go between his former team and his current one, switching from one L.A. team (Chargers) to another (Rams).
