Training camp will show how Rams plan to deploy Darrell Henderson

Considering the Rams drafted him in Round 3, they clearly have big plans for Henderson in his first season. He’s expected to eat into Gurley’s workload as the Rams keep their two-time All-Pro fresh for the long haul, but it remains to be seen exactly how they’ll deploy Henderson.

Fortunately, training camp is officially here, giving media members and fans their first good look at the first-year back.

We’ll get to see whether the Rams use him as the third option behind Gurley and Brown, whether he’ll line up frequently at wide receiver, where he fits in as a kick returner and how often he’ll run between the tackles.

Or maybe the Rams will keep him under wraps a bit and not showcase him to the world just yet.
