Maurice Moton of Bleacher Report recently predicted 2019 stat leaders in every major category. Goff wasn’t picked to lead the league in anything, but he was Moton’s runner-up in passing yards. Matt Ryan is predicted to top the NFL with 5,072 yards next season, followed by Goff somewhere close behind.
It’s easy to picture those two ranking first and second next season, too. Ryan and Goff were third and fourth in 2018 with 4,924 and 4,688 yards, respectively, so it’s not outrageous to think they could finish in the top two next year.
